What colour is your front door?

We are looking for a new composite door but unsure on the colour. I think we should go for white as all the windows are white but DH thinks it will look old fashioned?

Sage green. Door marks badly. But it’s directly on to the street 🙁White windows.

Peacock blue.

F&B lichen on a very old cottage door. Walls of cottage are cream so a pretty contrast.

It's just brown varnished wood at the moment, but we're getting new windows and doors soon and have chosen a dark green for the front door and a lighter green for the back.

French grey.

Black

Grey, but I'm going for something brighter later this year.

I should have said that ours is also wood effect although you can't see it in the picture. It distracts the eye from the fact that it's a composite door. We absolutely love it.

Mines currently white, but it's wood and I like it. Unfortunately it needs replacing as it's falling apart (too badly to be viable to repair) and I'm going to get composite (though I'd prefer would) and I'd like sage green, but the company I've chosen only has a horrible 'sage' green. So it'll be navy or grey.

I like white, but not in composite doors, I think it looks 'cheap' & like Upvc.

@TheLightSideOfTheMoon ours was same but you can buy paint for upvc doors now, and it is now a beautiful pale sage. The paint is much better than I expected too, barely ever needs a touch up.

Dark Brown UPVC with lots of key scratch marks around the keyhole. I'm hoping to paint it soon. Joined a page where folks paint all their upvc windows and doors

Olive or sage sounds fab.

Mine is F&B Rectory Red. I love it very much. Just about to move house though so need inspiration.

Matte black. Like the rest of my house. We will never sell it 🙈

Bori g white. When we do eventually get a new one it will be black.

Looks amazing with its brass knocker, number and letterbox.

Inside, we have draughts and plans to put in a tasteful curtain for next winter.

We inherited a red front door which I don't mind as it's a traditional colour, but the door and furniture needs a refurb. However, we had stained glass made and put in and I love it

Thanks. It was quite a process, all hand made, and expensive. I really love it and think it was worth it. The rest of the door will look good whatever we do to it!

Ours is the original wooden door, stained quite dark. I need to get rid of the stain and think we'll paint it a light blue but haven't made a decision yet. Have to paint the garage door as well.
