What colour is your front door?

We are looking for a new composite door but unsure on the colour. I think we should go for white as all the windows are white but DH thinks it will look old fashioned?

Navy with grey surrounds. I love it

You can paint it. There is special paint for composite doors ( I don’t know if it comes in purple, I did ours black) . It’s smelly but not hard to use.

Red. It's so pretty at christmas with the wreath on it.

Anthracite grey. I wanted sage green but DH wasn't keen.

Windows are white.

Dark wood effect. It works with the garage doors, I like some of the coloured doors on this thread but they wouldn't look right on our house.

White doors imo often look cheap and more plasticky.

Little Greene Silt...same as the windows. The door was F&B Rangwali but I got bored with it.

I chose that colour because my house is ugly as fuck and my theory was that a bright colour might distract the eye a bit...I’m not sure it does, but it definitely makes me smile whenever I look at it.

I probably would remember if it was me who painted it. I’d probably remember the name and brand of the shade or paint, the price I paid, how much paint was needed, how long it took to dry, how I feeling that day, and any other ridiculous details. But I didn’t paint my front door. I was whatever colour it is when I moved in so I have nothing to hang the memory of what it looks like on.

F&B Lulworth Blue or similar looks nice with white windows etc. A soft colour but I think looks lovely. My neighbour will never have anything but white & a friend will never have anything other than red. Each to their own but I do think Lulworth Blue ( or a mixed version looks nice. )

Oh I love that!! Our hallway is Tranquil Dawn Green so that would go lovely!

Solid oak, so natural wood colour.
Back door is a pale sage green.
My front door in my previous house was painted glossy black.

No don’t get white, it will look like PVC.
I have cream for my back door though and that’s nice. It a “cottage” style one.

I have light grey at the front. I like it but if I chose again now I’d get olive or sage.

Have you chosen what style door? That’s an exciting decision too.

Mine’s white PVC and horrible. As soon as I can afford to I’ll be replacing it with a sage green one.
