For my kitchen cabinets. Ive ordered farrow and ball studio green but I'm looking for some recommendations please. I want a deep rich green, not too mossy muddy or bluey. If anyone loves their dark green cabinets please let me know what paint you used. 😁

Ok it might be a shade too light or perfect, one or the other! I’ll add to to my tester pot list, thank you!

Little Greene might have a few potential options like Puck, Hopper, Jewel Beetle or Brunswick?

DietCokeUser · 07/05/2023 18:37

F&B calke green is lovely but maybe not dark enough for you.

Little Greene Invisible Green is very dark
and a great colour (nb little greene not Edward Bulmer).

Studio green in my room (on the walls in south facing room) is very black. At most times of day it just looks black, but when the sun is really shining on it it looks like black with a green tinge. That was just two coats. I don’t mind it but I had really been wanting a dark green.

Little Green “Puck.” A gorgeous true green!

thinkningaboutit · 07/05/2023 18:47

We have Duck Green on our kitchen cabinets. I like the newer colour Beverly from F&B too.

incognitodorrito · 07/05/2023 19:12

Little Greenes Olive or three farm green. Both really lovely. I went for Olive in my kitchen.

Thanks so much for all your replies and thank you @incognitodorrito for the pictures of your fab kitchen! Loving the gold hardware against the green. I think i need to order more samples and am slightly regretting ordering studio green as it sounds almost black and although my kitchen is south facing and can take a dark colour, almost black is probably a tad too dark 🙈🙈 im off back to little greene to order more samples 😅

Coat paints 'ditch the tie' could work well for you

CoconutAmericano · 07/05/2023 20:26

@Upcycler thank you I've ordered a sample of it and one of brewer too. Never heard of Coat paints before. This is fun! 😅

Inchyra Blue
its green to me

Africa2go · 07/05/2023 22:34

I have cabinets painted (in different places!) in 2 of the colours mentioned above - F&B Studio Green and Little Green Three Farm Green. I agree SG is very dark - it's in a really light place in our house (under a skylight) so you can tell it's green but agree with less light it might look black-ish. TFG is a dark green - it looks darker than the online images here but it's lovely. I'd get samples of both & try in the actual room where you'd use it.

LibertyLily · 07/05/2023 22:37

Littke Greene Jewel Beetle is stunning - very dark, but possibly too mossy? We're having it on our cloakroom ceiling (with Lamp Black walls!)

F&B Green Smoke is also a gorgeous colour, but read quite blue/grey green when we painted the exterior joinery of our previous two houses with it. Definitely not dark enough by the sound of what you're looking for @CoconutAmericano.

We have F&B Inchyra Blue in our (admittedly dark) hallway and it's not remotely green there, but obviously could look completely different in another setting.

Love that LG Olive @incognitodorrito! We have F&B Olive (archive) in our living room - it's much lighter I think and I actually prefer your LG darker version.

Rustoleum kitchen cupboard paint. Have a look on their website, they do loads of colours. After dinner is a nice dark green

SwedishEdith · 07/05/2023 22:48

I've just painted an old sideboard in Little Greene Olive Colour - it looks great. I think LG have a good range of green shades.

TheFireflies · 07/05/2023 22:56

I have LG Jewel Beetle in my kitchen and it’s gorgeous but I wouldn’t call it a deep green. It’s mossy.

Upstairs I have Graham & Brown Glasshouse which is a beautiful deep green. I did think about using that in our kitchen, but felt it would be just too dark for our house.

@LibertyLily we've got F&B Bancha in our (sunny) bathroom and it's a very dark olive, apparently it's much darker than the archive Olive. It's a gorgeous colour, very mid century.

SwedishEdith · 07/05/2023 23:58

Bancha is pretty close to LG Olive.
