Colour cushions please

Can you advise which ones please . Ochre/ mustard with grey check or burnt orange with grey check . Oak floor and silver chenille curtains

I like burnt orange

I like the lighter ones

Mustard. The burnt orange looks drab.

Would look nice layered all together,the gray in middle,brighter ochre at each side angled, then orange front.I like all those colors together.Try it?

I mean this kindly but you have been trying to decide on these cushions for a while now on another thread and you have been given great style advice. Just pick the cushions you prefer and stop fretting about it! Personally i would use them all together but i have an eclectic approach to cushion styling.

OP you have a very long thread about these cushions already. As several of us already said, there's only so much of a difference cushions can make. If you want to decorate your living room, start looking at other pieces.

Hi I really like the ochre. So I am going to go with them as I think they will lighten up my room . The orange are nice but I agree they do look a bit drab compared with the mustard xxxxx thank you

Hi op, I have looked at your other threads and can see how much you’re struggling to choose,

they both look lovely. Why don’t you do the mustard for spring summer and the orange for winter?

the key though is they all look lovely so I think you can stop worrying about it.

If I had to choose between just those two, I'd agree that the darker ones look more inviting/expensive.

Op there are no bad choices here. You cannot make a wrong decision. That’s why the answers are split, there is not one is bad and the other is good. They are both good. As such either way is a winner, 💐

I think they’re all a bit matchy. Can you get different shapes, textures, colours?

I like them matcha just wanted a steer with the colour. Wish I hadn’t got the grey sofas but having to go with them as not long had them a couple of years and my old brown leather ones were better had mink orange snd green cushions on that loved them. Much harder with these grey ones as I am trying to warm them up as they look so masculine and dreary . Xx

Is that the fundamental issue, you just don’t like the sofas, so nothing is working?

why not try some warm coloured throws to soften it? And some more cushions?

I love the voyage Maison cushions and have a few of them on two sofas, with a couple of woollen throws, one tan, one olive green. It gives a softer appearance.

Thanks for that . You are right about the sofas I don’t like them but will have to try and sort . I think the warmer tones work better I agree hence maybe the warmer burnt orange . I can then build up with others as and when I see them . I will look in the site you suggest thx

I was thinking about you last night op as you’ve been fretting about this for a month now.

So looking at your other posts and photos, try taking the grey checked cushions off totally and then putting both the orange and mustard ones on, together, see how that looks. Orange at rhe back in each corner, mustard sitting right in front of it. Or orange in each corner and a single mustard in the middle.

i think the rug is too small , I’m sorry, it should go under the sofas by 2 inches, and you need it in a nice warm colour, the grey is I think what’s adding to the cold look.

then a nice couple of warm coloured throws over the sofa arms and I think it will soften it all up.

i think the issue is you’ve went for a dark grey , which has blue undertones, and that is cold, as opposed to a softer warmer grey, but it can definitely work. Just when you add a grey cushion, grey rug in the same cold tone it makes it more clinical. Then when you add the fact the rug is too small, it doesn’t look warm and inviting,

I like both. This is why I have a bunch of different covers and just cycle them around depending on my mood.

I think gun to head if you absolutely must have one or the other I like the lighter ones better.
