Super king bed, super king duvet?

I've heard different opinions from two people. Both have super king beds and one says king sized duvet is absolutely fine - makes it easier to buy covers, make the bed etc. The other says absolutely not, get super king duvet as it looks silly otherwise.
So, what is your opinion if you have a super king? I've got 3 weeks before we move and put up the new bed! I need to make a decision and don't want to make a mistake!

Loads of super king duvet covers to choose from. Your issue is the pillows. 2 normal pillows are lost, 3 normal fit the bed but neatest are 2 king/large pillows but then you are quite limited as there’s not much choice in king pillow slips.

We use a SK in winter and King in Summer. The King looks fine.

Looks like super king is winning! Anyone who uses 2 singles, or a king. Can you share a photo as to what it looks like? Aesthetic is important for me also 🤣

Super king duvet - we’ve done king duvet on super king bed and it’s a nightmare! Too small!

We have a super king duvet on a king bed now and getting bedding and changing the duvet is totally fine.

I haven't got a photo of mine but we have KIng size in a superking cover and it looks absolutely fine aesthetically (possibly even better?) I think too much hang either side is actually not very aesthetic!
However it might be because we have the bigger cover I'm not sure, which then removes the other benefits of king size

We've previously always bought a size larger duvet than the bed size, but when we upgraded to a superking bed we got a superking duvet as it was hard to find a larger size. A king would be too small imho.

In fact we recently decided to use two duvets (but we have two doubles) as DH - and the dogs, one of whom likes to get into the bed - were hogging the duvet.

A duvet each - either a single or double.
No duvet hogging, and you can each have your own Tog preference. Does mean changing two covers - but they are MUCH easier to change than wrangling a super king duvet.

Superking bedding, Asda do superking 15 tog duvet very good quality and price. I buy all my superking duvet covers and fitting sheets from Next lucky I have managed to buy them in the sale.

We do too and a big super king bedspread for the day.

Also I had no idea super king pillows were a thing! Need to buy those now.

I wouldn’t buy a smaller duvet than the bed! We have a king size bed and a super king size duvet

Super King bedding and duvet all the way! Have had a SK bed for over 18 years (changed over the years of course) and would never have anything smaller!!

You 100% need a super king duvet and super king pillows. Everyone comments on how comfortable our spare bed is and it’s set up like this. Dorma pillows from Dunelm and crisp white bedding from Dusk, not too expensive.

I always buy a size bigger duvet than the bed, I have a double bed but king size duvet.

I have a double and he has a single, by choice, he did have a double as well initially. I'll see if I can get a pic tomorrow.
