What do you think about this bathroom flooring?

I'm planning the refurbishment of the main bathroom. White tiles, vanity unit and this patterned vinyl.
www.best4flooring.co.uk/highlander-macleod-sheet-vinyl-flooring opinions?
Would have a plain yellow or blue blind at the window.
Most of the house is white with blue, yellow, orange or turquoise as accent colours.

Thank you.

@ImperfectTents thank you for letting me know. You must have been so disappointed with the quality of your vinyl. I shall avoid.

Bear in mind that sometimes you will be sitting on the loo and staring at the floor for a while. You don't want anything that's going to cause one of those funny moving-about pattern effects that make your eyes swim.

mamacoast · 29/05/2021 14:27

@MustardRose you are thinking of this from every angle! Thanks.

I like all of them but we love a bit of colour in this house. The blue and white carpetright one is particularly gorgeous.

We've got blue and brown retro tiles on our wall and I love them.

@Gemma2019

I like the first one you posted - it's nice to have colour and something different. Shame there's not another picture showing it in situ. The other ones you have posted are nice too. The suggestion of adding colour with towels and a blind made me laugh as that sounds like something Hyacinth Bucket would do.
We're not all students with scummy towels and a flag pinned up over the window.

Nothing wrong with nice towels and a blind at a window 🙄

Cocolapew · 29/05/2021 18:46

I like it, makes a change from bloody grey.

Gemma2019 · 29/05/2021 19:33

@AlmostSummer21 I like nice towels and a blind but not instead of a colourful floor, as someone suggested

Bluntness100 · 29/05/2021 20:52

Blue skies and sunshine is a joyful combination

Well yes, but honestly it’s only a small minority of people who will get that from that vinyl.

sevencontinents · 29/05/2021 22:22

I like it too! I think we are quite reserved in this country when it comes to interior design. It won't be too much at all with the white suite. Good luck!

We have this one in our bathroom with white walls/tiles. It looks great and I’m really happy with it. I do like the 1st yellow one. It’s very different. And it’s not really the end of the world if you want to change a few years down the line.

Love that flooring.

JanuaryJonez · 30/05/2021 00:37

I think it looks nice!

I really like it, think it'll be great way to add colour to a white bathroom. But I am a colour fan, and I have never even been slightly tempted by anything grey, so I'm probably out of step with a lot of people's tastes.

How easy would it be to change in say 5 years time? I don't know much about vinyl flooring. But if it's fairly easy, and providing your bathroom isn't huge, so it's not too expensive. Why not go with what you really love for now, even if you're worried about it being a bit too "out there". And if you get sick of it in 5-10 year's time, you can just replace it with something else.

OldTinHat · 03/06/2021 10:33

I like it!

bilbodog · 03/06/2021 11:25

OP i really like the first one! Im sick of grey.....

We did a small bathroom years ago and although different design it was those colours with white everywhere else - it looked so fresh. If i was re-doing my current bathroom i might do the same colours again now.

user123532 · 03/06/2021 11:41

I think it's one of those things where everyone is going to say no at the idea of it, but if they actually saw a bathroom with it they would be pleasantly surprised. I think you should go for it, especially if you're having white tiles on the wall.

mamacoast · 03/06/2021 15:53

@bilbodog and @user123532 - thank you for your positive comments. My husband is onboard too - so looking very likely we are going to go for it. Just waiting for the last samples to arrive and then final decision time.
