What do you think about this bathroom flooring?

I'm planning the refurbishment of the main bathroom. White tiles, vanity unit and this patterned vinyl.

Would have a plain yellow or blue blind at the window.
Most of the house is white with blue,yellow, orange or turquoise as accent colours.

@ROSEMARY, what colour did you go for?

I'd gor a pattern like the @Losttheequipment suggested, so blue, grey are your base colours and if you like the yellow, use it in accents, e.g. accessories like towels and soap dispensers, so if you get bored you can change easily

@mamacoast I went for the beige, which wasn’t my first choice AT ALL ( not a brown person ) l. But I had to work with the brown tiles and walnut unit that were there already and I couldn’t afford the money / disruption to change.

It all looks a lot less brown now I’ve got an off white paint on the walls, better lighting and the light coloured vinyl flooring . It was much better than I expected . It was supposed to be a cheap and cheerful update until I can afford to do the whole room. I think I was £80 for the vinyl and £40 to lay it.

I like cement tile in cobolt/grey it's nice and it gives you a fairly neutral base to add colour with towels & other stuff if you want to.

I like it. Love how bright it looks.

The only way it would look cheap is if that yellow looks brassy or neon

I have these tiles so not dissimilar to the style you are looking at. I have blue tiles on the walls and love it!

@Nordstrom - thank you for sharing. I do love blue and yellow. Always have . Fond of orange and turquoise too.

This one is really classy and would look lovely in a white bathroom. The yellow and blue take on period floor tiles on your OP is cheerful but the colours are a bit 90's, together.

@PickAChew, yes I think that is what is holding me back. I'm looking forward to seeing the above sample. Fingers crossed it is the one!

I really like it, it will add colour if the rest of the room is white, it will look quite striking I think.

OP, this is your bathroom in your home. How much it bothers you whether visitors to your home like your astethic only you can say. I liked it when you used the word joy. I how whatever you choose makes you feel just that. I smiled with your first link because I thought it was refreshingly different to the drab stuff that gets repeated so often. And yellow is so rarely used but a lovely colour.

I like the first one you posted - it's nice to have colour and something different. Shame there's not another picture showing it in situ. The other ones you have posted are nice too. The suggestion of adding colour with towels and a blind made me laugh as that sounds like something Hyacinth Bucket would do.

The first one,I really dislike, even on a small surgace, I think it will be too much

I have vinyl from 4 the floor a and more and the quality is terrible. Such a shame as the pattern is great. The surface come off of you scrub it, it tears as soon as you look at it and it is impossible to clean

@dudsville I'm doubting myself as I'm so used to seeing grey and white interiors everywhere, and makes the blue and yellow combo seem more unusual. Blue skies and sunshine is a joyful combination.
