Help! What colour to paint my therapy room wallls?

Have qualified as a hypnotherapist and am setting up my therapy room. It has a sloping roof. I have a purple chair and two dark grey ones (see pic) Was thinking of a soft green for the walls, but not sure! Looked at Dulux Nordic Spa, but maybe a bit bright? I like the look of Highland Falls number 4 or 5, but haven’t got a tester pot yet. The room gets lots of light and greys look very cold. I need something calming and that isn’t too girly, as I will have male clients too. Any help much appreciated.

A leisure club not too far from me has green and lilac in their reception area, I couldn’t tell you any of the colours mind you!! I’ve got Cromarty in my bedroom and I think it’s a bit too dark to mix with your purple chair albeit a lovely colour!!

I love f&b setting plaster (random picture off interweb). It's neutral, clean, warm and looks amazing with massive numbers of other colours- greys, greens, even brighter tones like yellows and pinks.... I think it would be great for a therapeutic setting....

Does everyone think Matt? Not even a slight sheen? 😊

That was one of the samples I got and alas was too dark.

Yes Matt, gives a warmth and depth to the room.

Silk or any shin will be too hard.

Thank you. I will def avoid the sheen now. Changed my mind about James White and now thinking of Pale Powder, as can’t actually see James White on the wall! 😂 Though hard to see any with so much light coming in!

Have you tried it on the walls or just a tester on a sheet of paper? You might need to white wash the walls first to really see what the colours will look like

Thank you. Farrow and Ball advised two coats on card, so did that. Also did it on walls of a different house, where it looked different again! Hubby is white washing the walls first, so will indeed have a final look.
