Books are dead quick to pack and all the other stuff is often in collections so relatively quick to pack up as well. I really like it as a house, but then I live in a terraced house and we have one irregular shaped bedroom shelved completely from floor to ceiling and we call it the library. It's where most of the books live (except cookery and children's), has a second telly and the home office. I love it and will try and replicate it wherever we move
