is it just a coincidence that the same band of rogue MNers keep randomly coming together on nonsense/random threads?

Rachel I would never have thought of going to Next for wallpaper...however, I will now!

You have, of course, set me back to blues! I may just pootle over to the Next website and have a mooch.

SHAKY were are you at girlfriend!? (sorry, DD had Fresh Prince of Bel Air on Grin )

State pics have been on certain topics for a couple of months now - you can't get them on chat or aibu though.

Oh hello everyone.

Thanks for the paints State.

I'm very, very impressed that you are putting pictures in my topic. How thoughtful of you.

Thanks for doing the high bits Beardy, it's looking great.

In order to keep the decor theme going, we could discuss various decor throughout the rooms of your lovely topic Shaky

For example, is your Orangery south facing? [thoughtful face]

I'm thinking a Japanese theme would go well.

Our house is magnolia from top to bottom, it's so boring and bland.

This might actually insipre me decorate it and add a bit of colour.

We have just had planning permission approved to build a conservatory at the back of our house. Work will start in 2 weeks, I'm so excited!

I am cream and pale blue woman.

My entire house needs redecorating (when I say entire house - that equates to kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and hall/stairs/landing so not exactly epic project) I plan to inject colour. It is hard coming away from my go-to palette though!

Is it a conservatory or an orangery though?

I can't tell the difference and think it may be an attempt to make it sound less 80's/90's and more modern, with the price to reflect Grin

What's an orangery?

It will be an extra living room/ playroom for ds.

I can't wait to get all the toys out of the living room, I feel like the house has been taken over by plastic....

How are you coping with your morning sickness/all day sickness now? Are you feeling any better?

Blush

I'm no good with interior design, I do get obsessive over my dcs bedrooms. Ds has a digger/building site theme, and I may have begged dp to bring home an orange cone with flashing light to use as a bedside lamp Blush

I can't paint at this house so I can enjoy decorating through you lot.

Thanks for the biscuits Bonkey,

I did bring home one of those flashing lights one night when I was very drunk 20 years ago (I was 19 at the time). My mum went MAAAAD!

What is an orangery?

Ok just googled it, so basically it's just a posh conservatory.

We are having a conservatory, we are not posh, but it will be the bestest conservatory EVER!

Now I have my own topic I could put pictures of it being built and keep my topic alive forever! Result!

Yeah, sickness is tailing off , it just comes at the most random times of day - never the same time, so I don't know when to expect it and cant plan how to avoid it (ie eat/sleep/cry)

Had a good day today though and guess what - this thread has started me off on a hunt for beautiful wallpaper for the nursery section of my bedroom (long room, sectioning it off so the baby has a 'nursery') I may start my own thread though, instead of hijacking yours. Brian's Decor Delights or similar Wink

An Orangery is a conservatory, but sold to people who have "I want to spend too much money on a conservatory" stamped across their forehead Grin

Brian you could start your own thread here! Everyone is welcome, tis an open (but magnolia) house.

Re the sickness, I found the mornings (not eating breakfast), and teatime the worst, it was the smells of stuff that put me off.

I remember cooking a pizza that I was craving for, as soon as I too k it out of the oven I was overwhelmed by the smell. Could not eat it!

Supermarkets also turned my stomach, even the (normally lovely) smell of freshly baked bread made me heave ,

I've made the mistake of going on a contentious thread today.
It's so lovely and calming here.
