Has anyone got a reservation password for these events? They are being held in London, Sheffield and Birmingham throughout July but to book tickets before they go on general release you need the password.

Thanks Katzguk, picnic it is then.

I am so excited......oh well the kids are too of course

Can't wait to see the look on their faces.

katzguk · 18/07/2005 11:22

it was good,

DD loved it, shes even taken her blue's clue doggy to nursery this morning, he was free too!!

nutcracker · 18/07/2005 11:26

Wow thats great, my lot will be thrilled, must remember the camera.

purpleturtle · 18/07/2005 11:28

Our Blue's Clue doggies ahve also gone to nursery . Ds had a lie down, eyes shut, protest when I told him he couldn't take it in with him. In the end I gave in, because I don't want his last memory of nursery to be so traumatic! And as the nursery leader said, he's only little (2.5).

katzguk · 18/07/2005 11:29

at sheffield one they were giving out free disposable camers, at the sky stand

katzguk · 18/07/2005 11:30

trace2 · 18/07/2005 11:50

it was great that it was purley for little ones in mind, and we took a picnic so didnt cost anything, its nice to know they was not out to make money. there was two food stands and one for merchandise every thing else was free, with lots of free goodies my ds got one of each blues cluse
would go again

nutcracker · 18/07/2005 12:03

Did anyone take an older child too ??

Dd1 is 7 and i'm a bit worried that she may not be allowed to take part as much or get the free gifts as it does state that the event is for 2-5 year olds.

Hello, we are all back from a very wet, soggy Jump up in brum.

I can't believe it rained so much after all the good weather we have had recently.
We got there for when it opened and it was already raining.

The kids loved it though and had a ballet lesson in the Angelina Ballerina studio, had a ride on Thomas, built a wall in the Bob bit and had a dance and stuff with Dora, Bob and the Fat controller.

We would have love to of stayed for longer but it rained so much that we left at about 11.45.

Saw one Mner and her gorgeous new baby too

WigWamBam · 24/07/2005 16:04

It was really wet, wasn't it! We must have been there at the same time as you, Nutty, because we were there for when it opened too.

It was a shame that some of the activities were closed because of the rain, but dd managed to go on them before they closed them so she was happy! She had a whale of a time, despite getting wet through.

nutcracker · 24/07/2005 16:06

I wondered if you were there Wigwam.

Does your Dd have curly hair ?? I saw a little girl wirh curly blonde hair when we were sat wtaching the show and wondered if it was your Dd.

I think we went on everything except for the Wiggles thingy and Fifi thing.

WigWamBam · 24/07/2005 16:10

Yes, she's got blonde curly hair; we were sitting at the front for the Dora show, or rather, dd was running around at the front.

We did everything apart from the Wiggles; dd went to have a look but was quite disgusted that the Wiggles weren't there so wouldn't stop. She loved the Angelina dance studio though, she would have stayed there all day.

nutcracker · 24/07/2005 16:11

Were you on the left side at the front ??? If you were we were sat right behind you. Did you have a peachy coloured coat on ??

WigWamBam · 24/07/2005 16:13

I was the large woman in the bright orange waterproof, dd had a pink waterproof on.

nutcracker · 24/07/2005 16:14

Yes we were right behind you then

WigWamBam · 24/07/2005 16:15

Oh crikey, I wish I'd have known - I'd have said hello!

nutcracker · 24/07/2005 16:15

He he, we should have worn badges

WigWamBam · 24/07/2005 16:17

I did think about it, actually, but thought I might make such a prat of myself yelling at the stage show that it would be better off if I didn't identify myself

nutcracker · 24/07/2005 16:20

LOL, I must of ran past you actually cos Ds did a runner and I had to chase him.

WigWamBam · 24/07/2005 16:21

Probably - there were a lot of kids being chased by their parents, oddly enough

nutcracker · 24/07/2005 16:24

Yes I can imagine.

Oh well, the kids had a blast at least and it cost me nothing so I am happy.

whimsy · 24/07/2005 16:54

Glad you all had a good time, the weather was a let down though.

It was lovely to see you nutty, did your ds keep his face paint on long.

You too mummyhill

WWB sorry I missed you, I did keep an eye out but ds2 was screaming a lot of the time and had head stuck in pram. I couldn't really get him out due to rain (we did take shelter in the wiggles tent, until they kicked us out!)

Talking of kids being chased by their parents, did you see the streaker? A little boy about 2-3 kept stripping down to his pants and running off I did feel for his parents

We got soaked this morning, arrived about 11 and stayed for about an hour, most of the activities were closing down which was really disapointing. I think i was expecting something a little bigger though after all the hype in the local paper. The kids got upset when it was time to leave so we ended up taking them to the closest wacky and letting them run off some steam. I kept on appologising to my friends because they had travelled all the way up from Bristol to go with us and ended up looking like drowned rats. Was lovley to see whimsy and her boys although dd did go suddenly shy round them (highly unusual they normally run round together like something demented). Think we would of been really upset if we had to pay to go though.

nutcracker · 24/07/2005 16:58

Hello Whimsey

He did keep the face paint on yeah, but it started to wash off when we made a dash for the car.

Your Ds2 is sooooooo lovely, and Ds1 of course

whimsy · 24/07/2005 17:08

Thank you, nutty
