Lanzarote Questions Anyone..............

Hi Myself, dp and ds are thinking of taking a trip abroad towards october/november this yr! We were thinking of going to lanzarote but we have never been and wanted to know which parts are nice whats the weather like this time of yr and where should we look for a good price holiday?

We are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday doing the normal things like swimming, eating out, beach, shops !
Ds will be 3 then so at quite a good age !

Anywhere other than lazarote u have been thats hot in october/november and not to far to fly?

Hi, We went to Playa Blanco a month ago. It was nice enough, but it didn't win my heart. It felt very much like a 'resort'. I much prefer Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife. It has the holiday vibe to it, but it also feels very Spanish. Lanzarote didn't have that feel to me. Trouble with the north of Tenerife though is that all the beaches are pebble.

The place we stayed in in Lanzarote was excellent though. We rented it directly from the owner. It's a 2 bedroom townhouse in a marina area 20-30 minutes (dependending if we got dd into pushchair or not) away from the main resort. The house had everything we could have wanted including a chest full of toys and a dvd player. www.lanzarotecasa.com/ We managed to bargain the owners down a bit.
