Mum and daughter holiday

Looking to go for a weekend away with my teen daughter in September. We’ve haven’t been away this summer due to illness. It would be our first holiday just us, without DH. Where would you suggest is a super safe, just pool and hotel, for a long weekend? Hotel not far from airport, nice and safe, relaxing. I’m assuming canaries don’t can be hot to chill by a pool.

I just had a lovely holiday with my teen step daughter thought I’d recommend it.
We went to Skiathos, Greece and stayed at Elizabeth studios.
15 minutes from the Airport and because skiathos is so small it’s really easy and cheap to get around by bus. The nicest holiday I’ve had in years and my step daughter said she loved it to.

Sorry one more before I try and book this weekend. Lots of hotels in Torremelinos. Is this as safe and easy as the others you’ve mentioned? Far from airport? These seem to be in the price range and near beach.

Torremolinos is a 10 minute train ride from the airport. Of course it’s safe - it’s a touristy town in Spain, not guerrilla-ridden Colombia?

It’s a little Brits-abroad but that might actually put your mind at ease, hearing the language all around you and knowing you can communicate anytime.

Take the usual precautions you would anywhere in England, and you’ll be grand.

Torremolinos is great easy access from malaga train from airport. Lovely walks by sea. Go to carihuela lots nice restaurants La Carihuela Area | Official Tourism Website of Torremolinos https://share.google/U2el19X06iE80fNyt

And Ibiza? Anywhere lovely and calm? I’ve heard it’s beautiful.

Ibiza is lovely, if you want quiet head for the north or east. Croatia we stayed outside Dubrovnik at the Sun Gardens hotel which was lovely.
