i applied online and they've sent me it all back for the photos and to be signed etc, do i need to get it countersigned for a baby? does it need to be someone that's known me for 2 years?

what exactly do i need to send?

oh yes, but i don't think it costs that much to renew after 5 years does itt? i remember dd1s didn't cost as much as my 10 year one

Just done this getting 2 childrens 5 yr passports is more expensive than 1 adult 10 year

You do have to pay the same again to renew it. But that's why it doesn't cost as much as an adult 10 year one.

Many years ago, it *was the case the case that the 5 year "extension" for a child's passport was free/nominal charge, but that's no longer the case.
