Hi, we are currently booking a holiday to Disney Paris. Booking through the website it's coming to £6300 all together for 4 days/nights in August - this includes flights, Disney passes for each day, breakfast only and 1 room for 2 adults and 2 kids in the santa Fe hotel. Does this sound about right??

That sounds insanely expensive but I last went 6 years ago and paid about £700 in October half term so what do I know? 😂

Sass53271 · 15/04/2024 16:44

We paid 1500 to go Feb half term this yeae and stayed in Newport Bay. I guess that's the set off for the weather! We were very lucky and had sunshine but it is a risk at that time of year!

Dox9 · 15/04/2024 16:46

Are your dates during the Olympics this summer in Paris? The flights may be insane because of this. There's very little accommodation available during Olympics in Paris in general and the prices are sky high. I would go next year...

confusedlots · 15/04/2024 16:47

We've just booked for 3 nights/4days and it's approx £3000 in the Newport Bay hotel with half board. That doesn't include flights though

BloodyAdultDC · 15/04/2024 16:49

That's mental op. You could go to Florida for less than that for a week

mitogoshi · 15/04/2024 16:50

Seems a lot.

Painauraison · 15/04/2024 16:52

No, I'd expect to pay about £2.5k for that including half board.

Are you on the disneyland paris for brits group on FB?

Santa fe is only a 2 star, I've paid 2.5k for NPB includes half board in may. Could it be the flights? When we flew I booked separately, but now we drive as we are only 3 hours from Dover. I'd suggest trying different hotels or pricing it separately.

vivalasviva · 15/04/2024 16:53

Sounds way too much. Have you priced up booking train/ plane separately?

PatriciaHolm · 15/04/2024 16:54

That seems nuts - looking at the Disney holidays site I can find 4 nights August 1-5, same hotel and tickets and easyjet flights for £3k.

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 15/04/2024 16:55

I think @Dox9 has it. The Olympics are July 29 to August 11.

TakeOnFlea · 15/04/2024 16:59

Don't go to Paris this summer! It'll be ridiculous.

TheCheekyKob · 15/04/2024 17:02

Sounds ridiculous for Sante fe.

I just went in Easter holidays and it cost me just over £1,900 for flights, 3 nights (4 days worth of tickets) in Sante fe and a half board meal plan.

GiveHerEffervescence · 15/04/2024 17:25

It is not worth that. Go somewhere much nicer for less

rightoguvnor · 15/04/2024 17:28

I'd price it up as a self drive just for comparison. It's only 2.5/3hrs from the French side of tunnel.
Even if you need a stopover the night before the tunnel, a Premier Inn room at Ashford about 10 mins from the tunnel.
If I were paying that amount of money I wouldn't expect to stay in the Santa Fe.

Washingupdone · 15/04/2024 17:33

If all the hotels in the Paris area are booked up or more expensive because of the Olympics, naturally EuroD will put up their prices. Also flights will be overpriced.

SabreIsMyFave · 15/04/2024 17:35

That's a new kind of farcical! Tell me you're not going to pay it @Littleredpanda23 Shock

Washingupdone · 15/04/2024 17:36

PARIS 2024
The Olympics are July 29 to August 11.
Paralympic 28 August - 8 September.
Too hot in the never ending queues

takemeawayagain · 15/04/2024 17:48

No. Sounds ludicrous.

SometimesIDowonder · 15/04/2024 18:03

How many people. We're planning 4 nights 3 people, for £3k. We're using eurostar and an apartment with a bus outside.

PBandJ111 · 15/04/2024 18:23

No way! You could go to Disneyworld in Florida for that!!

For 3 adults and 1 child (2 kids really but one was classed as an adult)

That's a lot of money for a 4 day holiday, in my view.

How old are the children?

If they are still quite young, could you go elsewhere this year for your summer holiday and then to Disney Paris next year?

TeenLifeMum · 15/04/2024 19:10

The hotels just outside they use the shuttle bus are a bit cheaper and imo nicer. Worth looking at.

our half board 4* holiday for a week in august in Gran Canaria is £5k for 5 people (3 adults and 2 dc)

And Santa Fe was like Mexican prisoner cell block H when we went some years ago

(There were underpants in the hallway.... Griiiiimmmm)

eurochick · 15/04/2024 19:22

That's insanely expensive. We did a week at universal Florida in school holidays for two adults and one child last year.
