Hi, we are currently booking a holiday to Disney Paris. Booking through the website it's coming to £6300 all together for 4 days/nights in August - this includes flights, Disney passes for each day, breakfast only and 1 room for 2 adults and 2 kids in the santa Fe hotel. Does this sound about right??

Depending on when you're looking in August, Disney Cruise from Southampton is £4-5k for 2 adults 2 children and that's full board!

Don't do it

Could you stay in Paris and get an Uber out to Disney ?

Maybe 2 days Paris 2 days Disney?

Uber cost us 50 e and was so easy

This is utter madness

I paid about that to take my kids to Europe from Australia for a month (including Disney!).

I know things have gone up since the pandemic but that's nuts.

We stayed just off site in a castle-themed hotel.

Omg the place is definitely not worth that. Agree with the other posters the Olympics are on your prob best going another time. Lots of nice hotels outside Disney. Check trust pilot for Disneyland Paris - queues are crazy and they knock rides off left right and centre. I personally found it too busy and was disappointed not a lot of characters about either.

Loopyteddy · 15/04/2024 19:28

We went 27th Dec-31st Dec. Stayed at Santa Fe and had half board meal plan.
2 adults and 2 children for £2300.

Littlebean13 · 15/04/2024 19:29

That’s insane, especially for Santa Fe!
We went at the start of Feb and stayed in Cheyenne 2adults 2kids (but one under 3) and it cost £900 for hotel and park tickets 3nights/4days then I booked flights separately with easyJet for £350.
In all honesty I’d avoid Paris completely this summer with the olympics

OP

Would it be worth trying the calculation again?

I ask because I've tried to cost it up based on a family of 4 for 4 nights in August and the most it seems to be, travelling by Eurostar, is just under £3,000.

Santa Fe , 4 nights 5 days in August is approx £2k , for 2 adults and 2 kids sharing a room so to make it £6.300 it’s either more than 1 room or the transport costs . Drive it will be cheaper .

Littleredpanda23 · 15/04/2024 20:52

Hi, thanks for all your replies. Yeah it seems to be the flights that brought it up to that price, I changed the transport and it brought it down to a more realistic price. I also didn't realise the Olympics were in Paris this year! 😂 Are any of the hotels at Disney nice? The marvel Hotel looks a bit better than santa fe (but pricey too)

Santa Fe is the cheapest hotel, quite a walk from the park.

Floralnomad · 15/04/2024 21:11

Disneyland hotel is lovely and convenient for the park . The Marvel is nice if you like the theming I preferred it when it was the Hotel New York and themed as such . I don’t think there is much to choose between Sequoia and Newport Bay , it’s personal preference and I prefer Sequoia . I’ve not stayed at Cheyenne or Santa Fe but my adult son stayed at Cheyenne a couple of years ago and was happy with it .

NCTDN · 15/04/2024 21:19

I'd def avoid Paris this summer

Femme2804 · 15/04/2024 22:00

Thats too much. I will going this suer on august and stay in santa fe hotel too. The park and hotel cost £1400 for 4 nights. Its without the flight or eurotunnel.

are you in the uk op? How much the plane cost?

Orangello · 16/04/2024 13:17

Skip the Disney, Europapark is much nicer.

Emmelina · 16/04/2024 13:35

I'd price up alternative transport, that's insanity.

Emmelina · 16/04/2024 13:37

-and fair warning, Santa Fe doesn't have aircon in the rooms, look at Cheyenne or Sequoia :)
