I have an amazing opportunity (family life permitting for the firt time in ages) to visit Dublin I left the hotel bookings a bit late, but like, are there any budget alternatives, like Premiere Inn or Trabvelodge? Im in my late 30s and dontfancy staying in a hostel, but the prices of what I saw were quite prohibitive. Is air bnb the only other option?
Thanks,
joanna

Cross the river and wander down Capel Street - loads of affordable places to eat.

Oh god yes, Ristorante Romanos on Capel street does the most beautiful pizza
(after Difontains pizza, just over capel St. bridge). The restaurant is nothing fancy In itself but the food and prices are fantastic.

Jurys Inn Christchurch was good last year - easy to access places with a small walk, good local food, and would happily go back!

It's called Leonardo's now.
Has a cheap looking, shiny red sign over the front now. Makes it look shit.
