DumbledoresGirl · 24/07/2007 19:56

I shall definitely look out for your tribe too Megalegs, but I don't think I would have the nerve to speak.

Filchymindedvixen · 24/07/2007 20:19

DG, we sit on the left, vry near the steps to the footpath. Inone of the little covey bits, being bombarded by seagulls!

DumbledoresGirl · 24/07/2007 20:29

The steps are on the right surely? When you say left, are you looking out to sea, or back to land?

chocolateshoes · 24/07/2007 20:35

Twister

Leslaki · 25/07/2007 08:41

panic pants, I used bbc.co.uk/weather - they've been kinda reliable in past!!! Just put your destination in on the 5 day forecast. Fingers crossed N Brittany and s brittany will be submerged in a heatwave till the end of Aug!!!!!

bozza · 25/07/2007 08:53

panicpants I thought the alligator park was quite impressive. They also have an outdoor area where you can actually get in the runs with some quite large tortoises.

Filchymindedvixen · 25/07/2007 11:47

out to sea. There is a 'grill' cafe near by. Not the side where all the surfy clothes shops ar3

DumbledoresGirl · 25/07/2007 11:48

Oh right, I know where you mean. Bit crowded there though isnt it?

Filchymindedvixen · 25/07/2007 11:51

god, I don't know. We usually go in late |June. This year will be our first August trip. I am dreading it for all sorts of reasons...

MegaLegs · 25/07/2007 14:00

The grill restaurant is the campsite restaurant isn't it?

I am slightly dreading trying to keep an eye on all four on what will probably be a very crowded beach.

DumbledoresGirl · 25/07/2007 15:40

I am only dreading the weather.

My children are reasonably old enough to go off by themselves and take care of themselves (apart from the youngest but even he can go off with the others and be reasonably safe). Isn't it funny how we allow our children more freedom on the beach than we allow them at home? Or is that just me?

DumbledoresGirl · 25/07/2007 15:41

So anyway, have we enough people to make an official MN meet-up?

Filchymindedvixen · 25/07/2007 19:01

well not if you're going to hide...

IIRC NAO is in the area at the same time too.

MegaLegs · 25/07/2007 20:59

Deffo enough for a meet-up. Am going to make mn soupy bat bikini.

DumbledoresGirl · 25/07/2007 21:11

Well I was serious about taking my MN t-shirt with me, but I can't promise to wear it, not with the weather being what it is like.

Also, it is quite likely at least one of my children will be drinking a Fruit Shoot and I am not sure what would happen to my MN standing if anyone of you reported this fact back to the community....

But if I was ever going to attend a meet-up, it would be when on holiday as it is more anonymous that way, isn't it?
(Have a feeling you all think I am neurotic now!)

Filchymindedvixen · 25/07/2007 22:16

ah but fruit shoot now doing 100 per cent fruit juice now One of mine is old enough to have his own pocket money and buy what he damn well likes so...no judging here!
