Have you got your summer holiday sorted? Where are you going, and why did you choose it? Will you stay in a hotel, villa or other? Self catering or full service? Kids club? First time, or return visit?

Looking for some top tips and inspiration for my holiday "wish list", and hoping to live vicariously through my fellow Mumsnetters! Grin

Thanks CGmum... I am very inspired, and can't wait to pitch the tent Wink I will go on the website over the week end!

Week in a cottage near Southwold (East Anglia seaside) in August.

Camping with our church on the Aug BH. I'm not looking forward to the camping but it will ne nice to have the break with friends, and dd will never forgive me if we don't go.

We have also booked Center Parcs for the first week in December - not summer hols I know but I am insanely excited about it. Grin.

Clary - please don't be going to Cliff Place Cottages in Swanage. Let me know if you are. Severe health warning!

We are off to Kissimmee in July to our house just built on Windsor Hills. Very excited and trying to rent it out as much as possible if anyone is interested.

Then off to Rock Ville in Craster, Northumberland self catering in August. Any tips for the area would be appreciated. We are going to Alnwick castle and gardens and the treehouse restaurant.

2 weeks, isle of wight.
as per last year.

lionhearted · 06/05/2006 12:15

Isle of Wight, too.

Off to the South of France, with dd5 and ds8 + dh parents and 1 potentially stroppy teenager. Driving down, 14 hours in the car - arghhhhh. Campsite looks fab with waterslides and onsite entertainment and it's only a stones throw from St Tropez - best I bling up when I visit. Could be interesting if not explosive with the Grandparents. Let us see.

We're going for a week on Mull in August - s/c 2-bed cottage (with w/m and tumble drier .. important for me).

Hopefully a couple of camping trips too (just in the UK), but we haven't got that organised yet.
