Can't believe the pile of leaflets etc coming home from school.

Scary looking at accomodation costs (unloess you pick Teeside at £30pw!)

DD was rather struck by Oxford this week....

She is really interested in Exeter though - anyone been there?

One more year and they will have left home

DD got her final offer from Durham today.

They have an offer holders overnight stay as well, but she has decided she doesn't want to go there now, so can firm her choices on UCAS as all 5 offers now received.

Hope everyone else has had all offers in - decision time!!

Hi mumof3teens . DD2 is studying Acting for Stage and Media. it is a Thames Valley University cours but is being run bat Kingston College which is in Kingston upon Thames. I've just been ordering some books for hewr from her reading list. She has got to read some greek tragedy's that I wouldn't want to read. I'm going to get her to do a load of itorning as payment for them!

mumeeee · 24/08/2009 19:33

My typing is awful tonight.

NorthernNell · 24/08/2009 20:57

Milliways - will join empty nest thread even tho' I will still have 3 at home! Once I sober up after leaving DD1 in Liverpool that is!

mumeeee · 31/08/2009 17:34

DD2 will be going off to her uni on Thursday 10th September so not long now. She hasn.t even started packing stuff yet. She says she doesn't know where to start but won't let me help.

mumof3teens · 31/08/2009 17:46

Mumeeee that course sounds really interesting. It is so sad (for us) when they go off to UNO isn't it? My DS1 has just gone back this afternoon. I miss him already. He has been off for 5 weeks and I have had a dratted chest infection , so we really haven't done anything much. Don't know how I will be when DS2 goes to uni in less than 3 weeks.

mumof3teens · 31/08/2009 17:47

Uni even!

mumeeee · 31/08/2009 18:25

mumof3teens I hope she finds it interesting and works hard. She's had a gap year so hasn't had to do any studying for a while. A bit off subject she was in The Welsh Premiere of Rent in April and she has just told me the cast will be performing a melody ( not the right spelling) of songs from Rent at Her Majesty's theatre in the West end on a Sunday in October(I can't remeber the exact date). So that should be a good experiance for her.

mumof3teens · 31/08/2009 20:15

Wow how exciting. Her CV is looking really good already then!

mumeeee · 31/08/2009 20:31

Yes it's exciting. Not sure how it's going to work though as thae cast are a bit scattered some still in Cardiff, some in Aberdare and a few at uni's in London.
