Appealing Masters Result

Hi my son achieved a merit today in his university degree*. His overall grade was a 69.61 he's gutted he wasn't awarded a distinction.
Has anyone had similar and appealed.

Quite the opposite! As I said in a PP 'I'm all for people studying something they are really interested in', singularly or jointly. My post wasn't aimed at OP, it was addressing a link that a PP had posted about graduates being in non-graduate jobs, and what they thought about that. It's not me saying he wasted his time studying those subjects, its him. I agree with you @MarchingFrogs

@Ceramiq totally agree. The young man in the link doesn't appear to have done that, he is complaining that his degree hasn't led directly to a job, but the impression I get from the story is that he hasn't tried all that hard.
