St Andrews. Any RUK had any offers recently?

As the title says. Just seeing if anyone from RUK has heard lately. I know they offer late normally, but is there any movement at all? Particularly for STEM?
Will it really be April time?

The offer DS received is for A star, A star, A all in one sitting. Does that mean only the 3 A-levels he’s sitting this year will count and the A star he got in Maths last year doesn’t?

We’re waiting to hear. We know the odds aren’t particularly favourable (it feels like having a lottery ticket!) but DD is remaining open minded and just wanted to give it a go. It was the first uni she visited, back in Oct 22 and has remained a favourite.

Thanks @SurvivingTheWeek and good luck to your DD, hopefully not much longer to wait now. We haven't visited it yet, we are going to go to the offer holder days before making any final decisions.

Still waiting here for Computer Science @legobrickseverywhere. Meanwhile, other unis which were further down the list are doing a good job of persuading DD that they are worth taking seriously.

Still waiting too. Ds is wanting to accept Durham. But waiting on St Andrews and Edinburgh. Hoping we hear something in the next few weeks as not sure he’ll hang on until April.

We're waiting for Edinburgh too. The problem is that DD has never been to either of them (city or uni) and was relying on offer-holder days. They are both a long way from where we are and so not simple to turn up at a couple of days notice.

Durham is lovely @legobrickseverywhere, so I'm glad your DS has a backup. On the other hand, I think I'd be inclined to wait.

@Chaotica I don’t think offer holder days have been announced for comp science at St Andrews. There is general one on 6 April, but that states it isn’t for Computer Science. So I assume there’s will be announced at some point.

Looking at previous spreadsheets it looks like early-mid March is the most likely offer time. Hopefully we’ll avoid the end of March, which was a bit of a bloodbath last year for rejections.

Let’s hope things start moving now we’re into March. Anyone new had any offers very recently?

I saw some offers coming through for St As in TSR, over the last couple of days especially.

I think some non contextual Scottish home offers are starting to come out. So maybe RUK not too far behind now…
