New thread as our dc start the rollercoaster ride of interviews.

Good luck to all DC awaiting O offers tomorrow - the closer it gets, the more anxious I feel. Don’t know what I’ll be like for the next two weeks lol. DS is pretty chilled - at least he’s not mentioned it, and I’ve kept my feelings to myself.

We have a 2 week holiday booked for Christmas. I hope it’s a good idea and is the R&R DS needs as opposed to creating stress. The rest of us will certainly need the break. DD has mocks in Nov and Feb so will be revising both halfterms, so Xmas seems like the most sensible choice. Also works well from a work perspective for DH and myself.

I'm just sitting here with DH discussing the randomness of life and how we are even in this position and how I can possibly be worried about it when 2 years ago there was no guarantee that my son would even take his GCSEs!

And I'm drinking wine, well just because.

I don’t really drink alcohol which is probably a good thing in this case!

Have told DD I will be back up for her waking/getting up tomorrow morning as she has a morning exam (and probably won’t get to sleep for a while tonight)
