The next bit of news comes on offer day - 9 Jan for Oxford and 24 Jan for Cambridge.

I hope DD finds out soon when her Spanish interview is - the history one is 7th December

At the risk of sounding like one of those annoying not-read-the-thread types on TSR, I assume no further news on UCL english interviews? - I know there are a few applicants on here. Am quite puzzled by their timing

My DS doesn't know when his history interview will be yet even though he found out he was having one last Friday at 8am!

It seems crazy to me.

Is Tuesday the first day of interviews for the thread then? Anyone got one on Monday? DD has one at 10 on Tuesday morning.

it’s such a tough process. I feel sure a student a year older taking a year out would be better prepared for all this

As far as I know DD’s first is Thursday 7th but as she could have Spanish from Monday 4th onwards is quite possible it will be at least before the 7th

DS2's first is on Monday. Am sure there will be lots

@Lightsabre that's quite a good success rate if over 10% for offers.

DD hasn't got her interview times yet afaik. She's doing them at home, school aren't confident in the reliability of their tech and internet connection. The HoS seems to have received an email notifying her of the interview, I guess as the person who registered the admissions tests. DD is the only Oxbridge applicant for a couple of years, school are very excited and trying to help but are not clued up on the type of interview questions. DD has asked for a mock interview for the MFL element but is happy to prep independently for the Classics side. She has no nerves about the interview experience, which impresses me, I'd be like a bag of eels! Hope it continues once she's actually doing them.

Thanks for congrats for DS. Good luck for those still waiting. There seems to be a lot still waiting of those who did MAT or PAT. I know for Maths the interviews are in a fortnight, so a week later than many other subjects, so still time x

DD should be doing hers at school as their internet is better than ours though need to get details soon so they can reserve a room. Should be next Wed / Thurs / Fri. It also said (E&M) application is with all colleges though think second interviews are following week.

Still waiting here. No Oxford Physics invites seem to be out yet, but interviews are supposed to start Tuesday next week. Pretty stressful as DD has found it hard to prepare while still not knowing.

Ds is Monday first thing and then in the afternoon also.

It is a bit mean to leave physics so late

This is the same for my DD but her interviews are both on the same day and both require pre reading.

That is very tough on the physics applicants - hope you hear today 🤞

DD is Monday morning for her first college; waiting for news on which second college is and invite - assume will come soon as interviews are running Monday and Tuesday (poss weds?) for her subject

Ok so why the two colleges? Dd has two colleges interviewing her but not sure the details - is that normal? Oxford

Still waiting for confirmation of actual date and time here too, just that it's tail end of next week. Would be good to know as she'll have to miss a day at her course - they don't know she's applied to Cambridge.
She's had three practice interviews now and is no longer nervous - fed up more like! Taking all feedback on board but is finding it hard to know how to implement some as of course you don't know what they are going to ask! She just wants it over and done with so she can focus on getting her term project done.
Hope those still waiting to hear get good news soon.

In some subjects everyone is interviewed at two colleges.

DS has just received an interview at Oxford at his college of choice for Maths and the other joint subject.

We are delighted, excited and relieved

DD is about to do the Remote Interview Workshop. She's so nervous bless her.

Catmumof3 when did your DD here about the the interview workshop. dS filled in the form for one but hasn't heard if it's happening and his actual interview is on Tuesday.
