Is anyone still waiting for Uni offers, we're still waiting for Durham.

Still waiting on UAL for Foundation (from the creative thread sounds like everyone is). DD has her interview at another next week, no idea when they say yes or no. Would love to get it all decided before exams start! Luckily local so no need to worry about accommodation.

Still waiting for Edinburgh. Frustrating.

🤞🏻for those of you still waiting - it is horrid - my ds had a long wait 2 years ago for one and then when he got the offer decided he didn’t want to go there - pleased to not to have to go through it again this year with dd.

what subjects are you waiting for? For those waiting on Durham they’re not starting the provisional college allocation until end of April so at least that’s one thing not to have to worry about.

Had Edinburgh a few weeks ago, still waiting for Durham for Modern Lang (Russian) & History. It's DD favourite so really frustrating!

We're waiting for chemistry. His GF got a rejection from Edinburgh a couple of weeks back (Eng Lit) but it's still his first choice so we're totally in limbo.

Waiting for final one -Edinburgh. Got Durham but wants to know about Edinburgh before firming. Is frustrating as if a rejection he would just like to know!

Still waiting for LSE here. But they do notoriously take a long time it seems.

Everyone seems to still be waiting for Durham! How can they justify taking so long. We're not but everyone at my DC school that applied there still is I think, crazy to be so out of step. Is it something to do with the collegiate system? Quite a few still seem to be waiting for Bath as well.

All our school has heard back from Durham (well dd and all her friends have) still a few waiting on St A and Edinburgh.

Edinburgh!! Very frustrating to wait since October if it’s just a rejection!

It’s normal for the highly oversubscribed unis to take up to the deadline.
Have a look on TSR they have charts of offers.

Still waiting for Bath. Awful to make the kids wait so long

@Inca22 DC finally heard from Bath last week. Rejected for the course he applied for but offered an alternative (which he isn’t interested in) So annoying he had to wait so long and then be rejected

What is TSR?

It’s ‘the student room’ website - but I’ve not been able to locate any charts for specific unis. Where do you find them please if anyone knows?

i think maybe the accuracy has to be taken with a pinch of salt (although dd put her offer on) and also people are unlikely really to put rejections on.

Yes they are generally in the first post of the 2023 applicants thread for the respective uni

DD has all her offers but I know some of her friends are still waiting and there doesn’t seem to be any logic to when they’ve received them either

My youngest has heard back from both Durham and Edinburgh so with 4 decent offers can now choose

I suspect Durham are waiting for some offer holders to reject them so they can offer the places to others on the waiting list. I believe mine will pick St Andrews as they loved the Offer holder day and it’s ranked 2nd in the UK for their course.

Hope your children hear soon
