DC not sporty. Course is very very similar and likes both. Year in industry/overseas available at both. Student finds own placement at both and support seems similar. Been to both open days and neither out shone the other. Grade requirement same. Travel time is also very similar. Both campuses albeit there’s more to York city than Loughborough town from what we have seen. But didn’t really see Loughborough town.
Anyone have any opinions on which is ‘better’ please?

Business management is broken down into specialisms. Accountancy, finance, law and legal compliance, HR, strategic management, marketing, buying and sales if appropriate, supply chains, information systems, IT, etc etc

Therefore management covers all of these. So she will have to specialise at some stage but many jobs send trainees around various departments within the company. Management in a smaller company might well cover various components. Therefore I’d be less concerned about accreditation. She could look at the professional institutions that govern such professions. She could also look at a MBA at some stage. No degree needed at all for many. Just suitable experience and seniority.

I see York have changed Y2 for both BA and BSc Business Management so there are some optional modules - but still only 2!

it seems very limited in terms of flexibility compared to others.
