Join me. 😢😢😢😢

Let's put on Mamma Mia!

Let's sing "Slipping through my fingers," and howl 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🙋😭😭

And then pull ourselves together, pour a drink, put on some lipstick and say "Didn't we do well in raising strong, independent, intelligent young women?'

OK, OK, time to draw a line under the racism thing. One person's view will be made depending on where they live. So if someone went to the village school, went to the local town school, stayed in the area and got a job and married the same type of person, then they will certainly be shocked that their children are suddenly mixing in the real, multicultural world.

Sadly, pockets like this still exist in this country. And even more sadly, they will be in for a greater shock when they realise that voting Leave hasn't got rid of the "foreigners."

Tolerance, ladies, tolerance....

Peace - we must have been typing at the same time because your post has only just popped up on my page.

I'm all in favour of flippancy on this page as DD has not replied to yesterday's text from me, so she's obviously having too good a time without her boring old mum.😲

BRING ON THE FLIPPANCY!!

I know what you mean, my DD has stopped messaging me which means she has now settled. For the first couple of days I had more messages from her than in the previous 3 years! I am missing the chat but relieved she must be happy.

I'm in Bristol. Ish. Not uni (but it's a good one!) and they'll have a blast!

Mine's at Bristol too. We live in London & she didn't even look at any of the London universities as she wanted to experience life outside London.
