Healthy thread focussing on cock and cake finding the method that suits you whilst enjoying some cheery banter and googling obscene veg!

I am Mitts... hello xx

You need to set it to have pages Vinny, then remember that you last read page 5, or whatever. That's what I'd do if I had an iphone (instead of a ridiculously powerful computer with a 26-inch screen).

Mouseface · 28/06/2010 11:20

Alice - that dress is gorgeous! I bet you'll get lots of admiring looks!

SAF - agree with you completely on the whole rebound weight thing. When I did Atkins, I had 3 stone to lose after losing the triplets so wanted to shift it like yesterday.

At first, in the first few days, I lost loads, about a stone in a week. Mainly water, some baby weight and the rest who knows.

BUT. On my wedding day I ate 'normal' food and that was the end of that! Slowly but surely, it all went back on.

This morning I am 9st8lbs and happy ish. Want to get to 9-6 or even 9-4. We'll see.

Do you think this is for you then SAF??

VinegarTits · 28/06/2010 11:32

OOh Alice, you will look lovely

If you like Chinese style food, could you see what you could make that is similar, SAF? I prefer Indian (well, Italian is my fave with lots of cheese, so that is out!) so have made chicken tikka with no fat yoghurt and spices. Could you do something similar?

I think it is going to piss down here as well Double.

We need it to be fair.

Send some rain here please Double, my poor horses are suffering, and so am i!

Mouseface · 28/06/2010 12:40

SAF - they are all the same. Once you stop, you put wieght back on, either all of it or some of it at least.

Do you think this is just a blip then? Once Dukan is established, can you then maybe tailor make your own routine IYSWIM?

Clouding over here but bloody roasting.

I hate take-aways. All that MSG. Much rather make my own chinese and currys. Or at least get MrMouse to!

bugger! was distracted by the dukan posts, and knocked a cuppa soup on the carpet! so have achieved negative housework in DS's room today, making a bigger mess...

Trills - other thread has now been filled by mindless stuff and nonsense!!!!

VinegarTits · 28/06/2010 13:14

not sure what the idiots at work have done but i can now load MN on my work pc, yay!

good excuse to buy an iphone though

hellsbelles · 28/06/2010 13:17

SAf don't spoil all your hard work. It is a long haul thing which is boring as hell but the end result will be worth it surely? I think the key is doing the whole 4 stages to stop the sudden weight gain at the end (which is what usually happens with these sort of things). Are you doing the 20 mins exercise and drinking enough water?

Shakes pom poms (as Bella is absent with the cult pom poms) for Alice's dress and 34 weeks!

Lizzy - skinny arms good but make my arse look even bigger by comparison. I've relented and bought the shred. My SIL looks even more gorgeous than ever at the moment and I need TONING. I'll miss out the stuff that could be bad for my back though. What's teh best time of the day to do it? Do you get all sweaty betty? Should I do it first thing so I can shower after?

Shiney shiney - STAY. Don't go. We need you back.

Mouse - glad to hear that Mrmouse hasn't been negatively effected by his accident!

DEM - clever you with teh jam. Once I'm allowed to eat fruit! I shall be doing the same.

Bitter - you are doing brilliantly on the DUkan. Well done.

I have cleared out the 'bits' drawer in the kitchen which has given me a disproportionate amount of statisfaction. Only about 50 more drawers to go. But this one is beautiful now.

trilliAnasTra · 28/06/2010 13:26

Yay for MNing Vinny!

Very pretty dress Alice, and very nice price. I tried on the dress I linked earlier (found it in the big New Look on my lunch break) but it's a bit see-through so not buying it.

Had a vegetarian sushi selection from M&S for lunch - 275 cals and lotds of little bits to fiddle with so it feels like you are eating something. Also bought some lolly moulds from Lakeland

trilliAnasTra · 28/06/2010 13:26

Hells did you find anything interesting in the kitchen bits drawer? How many crazy utensils that have never been used?

hellsbelles · 28/06/2010 13:33

as a QVC and lakeland addict I always find a lot of useless things when I do a sort out ! However as this was a relatively small drawer the most interesting things were keys. Lots of them. And I have no idea what they are for.

trilliAnasTra · 28/06/2010 13:52

Oooh, mystery keys. If very bored describe one in a thread on Chat and ask people to make up a story baout it.

Mouseface · 28/06/2010 13:54

I bought egg poachers from Lakeland, they're like wobbly rubbery domes.

Stangely cute!!

Yay for MN at work Vinny!!

DS has just woken up after less than an hour of sleeping an puked all over me and the floor.

We have had a letter for him to go see his cons paed 15th July...... fingers crossed the video has helped.

And my friend who got beaten by her hubby is much better, her nose cast comes off this week. He's staying away so far. Her eldest DD is coming to stay in the summer hols as is my DD best friend.

trilliAnasTra · 28/06/2010 14:02

Yay, glad your friend is getting better Mouse. I have seen those egg poachers and I want them, even though I don't ever poach eggs. Maybe I would poach eggs if I had them...

Mouseface · 28/06/2010 14:08

at Trills..... the egg domes are awsome and you get dome shaped eggs every time.

Simple yet satisfying.

hellsbelles · 28/06/2010 14:23

at keys thread...better not. I have more drawers to do (and school pick up). At least I can multi task and get a tan on the walk to DS's school.

Trills - when you get your fit flops you may want to vaseline between your big toes! Sounds mad but I almost had to stop using mine as the rubbed so much there...but that did the trick and now I love them.
