I would make an appointment with my GP - could be lots of things - wonky blood pressure, diet related (are you eating properly/enough?), could be the beginning of a tummy bug.

Hope you feel better soon!

dejags · 24/06/2005 18:54

God Forbid you could be (dare I say it... pregnant?)

dejags · 24/06/2005 18:55

Sorry Nutcracker, that presumed you would be unhappy with being pg - I dont know you at all, so dont know what prompted me to say that!

sparklymieow · 24/06/2005 18:55

I said that to Nutty on MSN too

dinny · 24/06/2005 18:56

my dad feels like that when his bp drops low...

nutcracker · 24/06/2005 18:56

If i'm no better by monday i'll ring the docs.

Nutcracker, I had all those symptoms and it turned out to be Anaemia. Felt a bit like early pregnancy, constantly tired and sick. I felt tired for a while, but only started feeling sick and dizzy after a few months and that's when I went to the doctor. Could be worth checking out? I've been on iron tablets for nearly three months now and I feel so much better I can't believe it.

nutcracker · 24/06/2005 18:57

No prob dejags, don't worry about it

Don't think I am pregnant no, but you know what thought did.

OP posts:
dejags · 24/06/2005 19:00

Jak - that was my first thought too. Might be worth persuing Nutcracker.

About thought...

followed that muck cart and thought it was a wedding

keep us posted

nutcracker · 24/06/2005 19:00

Hadn't thought of anemia. I don't take any vitamins or anything and my diet is ok but will definatly get that checked.

Last time i had a blood test for anemia because of dizzyness I turned out to be pregnant.

OP posts:
dejags · 24/06/2005 19:01

is it possible you are pg - i.e. have you missed a pill, been sick, had an accident with other birth control?

MrsGordonRamsay · 24/06/2005 19:02

But you know what thought did.

Followed that muck cart and thought it was a wedding.

Pis........ed in the bed and thought he was sweating.

I love that last line, it is so rude.

nutcracker · 24/06/2005 19:03

Hmm well birth control at the mo is withdrawal method >

dejags · 24/06/2005 19:04

pmsl MrsGR, I have never heard that before, will have to add it to my repertoire.

dejags · 24/06/2005 19:05

don't worry Nutcracker, it will work out. Much more likely that you are slightly run down or similar.

How long would it be before you could a pregnancy test to be sure?

nutcracker · 24/06/2005 19:05

Erm well i think i am due on next week some time. Am not very organised with writing it down so not 100% sure.

OP posts:
dejags · 24/06/2005 19:07

Might be as well to start on a multivitamin suitable for pregnancy in the meantime (I think certain things in a normal multivit aren't suitable in pregnancy) - anybody out there who can confirm that?

I would still see the doc next week if you dont feel better.

Good luck!

daisy1999 · 24/06/2005 19:08

vertigo?

nutcracker · 24/06/2005 19:08

Thanks dejags, will certainly be at the docs monday if i don't feel better.

OP posts:
nutcracker · 24/06/2005 19:09

Does vertigo make you tired too though ??

OP posts:
MrsGordonRamsay · 24/06/2005 19:09

Nutty

If you are PG it won't be the end of the world will it ?? That is meant in a, you would all cope sort of way, not a get over it wayn IYSWIM

JakB · 24/06/2005 19:10

Nutcracker, is there any reason to think you may be anaemic? Heavy periods?!
I immediately thought pregnancy, too.
