Sorry, sparkly. The answer has got to be "F*ck 'em." Your health, and that of your children are more important than the comfort / addiciton-satisfaction of your guests for the hour or so they might be with you.

See if dh might be interested in giving up soon as all this will be much easier with him onboard.

He might be strong willed, but he ain't stupid. He's addicted, like all smokers. Deep down he knows this. And deep down he probably would hate to think of any of the kids smoking.

He cannot stop until he makes the monumental decision (and finds the willpower) to quit.
