With viral meningitis :-(.were in hospital so am on my phone.cant reply very quickly.please pray for us.im petrified.jes and psycho it was good to hear your voice.

Continuing to pray for you both.

mum should arrive after 12 so i can freshen up then.im hoping we might get out tomorrow but im not going to get my hopes up too much.j is resting right now so Ive just been able to have a nice chat with psycho without him screaming in her ear!
please pray i dont kill my mother!

When your mum comes, take the chance to have a shower and a walk around outside. Even if it is for a few minutes it will rejuvinate you. I've been in hospital with a sick baby and it's really hard work and mentally draining. It sounds like you're doing really well, but please remember to look after yourself, as this will enable you to look after J.

mums gone home and were both still alive!shes offered to come for a few days once were home and settled.im not sure.said id let her know.not one put down about j either which i was waiting for :-(.
so tomorrow im praying we do get out of here and i can get him home to rest and get completely well again.

Oh just seen this, so sorry you've both been through this, hoping for a speedy recovery for J and some rest for you.

Glad to hear your mum is still alive, there's hope for us oldies yet.

cvq, glad to hear that your little J is doing well and it's looking good for you to go home tomorrow. Also glad that your mum managed to keep in mind the important thing during her visit, i.e. that your son is ill and you are massively worried about him.

oh dear im very tearful tonight.seeing mum after a long time and the last 3 days has caught up with me.im just so thankful j is going to be alright

that's the thing isn't it - we end up as gibbering wrecks when stuff is getting that tiny bit better. Did you manage to relax with your mum's visit?
