Hi tripped over and randomly my foot caught some tweezers that went through my foot and went through the skin sideways and came out the other end, I have pulled them out but my foot is really throbbing and I can put weight on it at all I have two ASD kids to care for so would like to avoid going a and e tonight . Do you think it will be okay ?
thanks

What did they do for you at A&E?

I'm not sure she went .
Probably the "oh it's nothing put a plaster on and stop whingeing" brigade put her off getting some actual real life help .
These sort of threads can be the opposite of help.

@Mummyof2asd
hopefully you have gone somewhere and have sourced treatment .
That's a nasty wound .

You earn £50k in the public sector working as a PA @DailyEnergyCrisis

doubt it that you are way more qualified and earn way more than a podiatrist

Edited

Have you ever heard of qualified medical professionals (particularly mothers) taking an alternative role that is much more flexible?

since you’re such a fan of them do an advanced search and read some of the other threads I’ve discussed work/qualifications on and you’ll definitely stumble across my original profession (to which I am still registered for). (Also, due to a recent promotion I’m no longer a PA and earn £73k since you’re so keen to keep tabs).

I know. I couldn’t have for a second hoped that my input was so exciting someone would take the time to advance search my posting history- but well, there you go!

Hope the minor wound is healing well OP.

Bit of a weird response to shoe horn in that you are supposedly better qualified and much better paid than a podiatrist, I’m sure you’ll agree.

But… well likely you won’t!

What I do think is odd about this thread is that the people who don’t think the op has a minor injury have been quite hysterical and weirdly confrontational about it- but each to their own. It’s not something I can get too upset about.

“Hysterical”

goodness. Someone enjoys a nice bit of hyperbole
