My brave sweet man died this morning. I was with him at the end.

Just read this, I'm so so sorry to hear of Mr MB's passing, MB.
Your children are roughly the same ages as my eldest 2. I hope they, and you, are coping ok. It must be so terribly difficult to come to terms with losing their father so young.

Life's just not fair sometimes is it? But I did get a great amount of pleasure from reading about his award. You can be justifiably proud of him, and yourself! (((MB)))

Whenever you have 'talked' about your dh on MN, I have always smiled. The simple fact that you adore him was always tangible from your posts about him. Today is a sad day for the MB family. He was so obviously loved, admired and appreciated by his family and what happy times you have shared.

I wish you a lot of strength and peace for the coming weeks and months.
