MB, I can't imagine what you and your family are going through. You have been in my thoughts so much lately, but the people I express it to don't get the connection - they think 'internet forum' and think "!"..but you are real, our history and friendship/antagonistiship (?), the progression of your darling DH's illness and treatment is real, to the first diagnosis to the hope of pioneering treatment to now this?where we all end up..

Life is remorseless in both its positives and negatives ? and is implacable to our grief. But MN and the people that have helped you off site prove that life triumphs over death and your DH will be remembered in many many peoples hearts until the end comes for them too. I?m sorry for these ramblings. Ignore them and be with the people who matter at this time. God bless ? from an atheist?xxx

MB, have been away. Just got back and saw this. There is nothing I can say, but I want you to know that, like all of us on here, I am thinking of you and your family and of your brave dh. I'm so glad that he got his MBE presented and that you were with him. Wishing you all the strength and support you need.
