My brave sweet man died this morning. I was with him at the end.

Please remember a fine man in your thoughts.

I've only just logged on to MN and saw this sad news. I am so sorry MB that you didn't have longer together, and I am thinking of you and your dcs. I'm glad that you were with him when he died and that you have lots of special memories. There's something special about servicemen, and you had one of the best. RIP MR MB(E).

Not sure what to say. But couldn't not say anything. So sorry for your loss. He sounded like an amazing man. Love to you and your family xx

I am so sorry to hear your sad news. Your husband is a brave man of whom I know you and your children are very proud. I am so glad you managed to make some memories over the last weeks even though your time together was not long enough. I hope it brings you and your children comfort to know you are in the thoughts of so many mumsnetters and we all send you our love.

Deepest sympathies to you and your family. I've followed your posts and you have made things as good as they could be for your darling husband and children, you should feel proud of that.

You dear, sweet girl. How much you've had to endure.

Don't lose your faith in life. It's only by dying that we can truly appreciate how precious it really is.
