How common is twitching muscles?

For the last 4 weeks my muscles seem to be having a good old workout. Everyday my muscles are twitching all over the place. Sometimes one muscle can be twitching for a couple of days, but generally it's a couple of twitches here and there every few minutes, it's doing my head in, it's in my arms, legs, hands and even chest.

Of course, as always, I've had a google and frightened myself silly reading about a particularly tragic disease that has twitching as a symptom.

So it would really calm me down a bit if other MN's could say 'oh yeah get them all the time' type thing!!

Did you find out what was causing your faciculations?

Twitching alone is called BFS and isn't a concern, youd need to exhibit clinical weakness for it to be of concern
