Ds1's foot is finally FLAT!! I have never seen it flat!! (yes I cried)

Ds1 has cerebral palsy which meant he walked on his tiptoes and had a big operation on his leg last month to release his hamstrings, ankles and hips. He has been in plaster since. the plaster came off today and his foot is completely flat, I mean like normal flat!! I cried when I saw him walking with a flat foot....

SGK, that is fantatic!

DS had his casts changed today and his feet were much better and he could stand almost upright (as opposed to bend forwards at waist).

It is a great feeling isn't it?

it could tighten up over time again. the only downer is that now they have done his 'bad leg' they can see that his 'good leg' needs doing too, so we have to go back in 2 months to discuss it further.

I was walking behind him with the physio saying OMG its flat, its actually FLAT!! with tears welling up...
