STEVE'S DAY

I was thinking about OJ, Steve and the children just now and looking at the site where we can donate. Steve's funeral is next Wednesday and I for one will be there in spirit. I have lit candles and I will be donating because I can channel my tears into something. I just wondered how people felt about this idea...

If you've been here a while on MN you'll know about Maude and her pink balloons.

I wonder if Jo would choose a "Steve" colour and maybe we could all send a balloon up on Wednesday, so we're not intruding on the funeral but we make damn sure we're heard. I think if Jo saw any balloons, she'd smile. Maybe we could get balloons and draw teddy faces on them Good old Biggles!!

I have spent so long "living" this story that I would like to pay my respcts to not only OJ and family but to Steve too for being a really tough Dad, Husband and trifle eater!!

What do you MNetters think?!

Shall we have a teddy balloon release?

hello all - have started a trifle thread here inspired by my hunt for trifle this morning..the idea of mass trifle eating at a given time on Wednesday is lovely, something both sad and jolly in equal parts which is a nice way to remember someone - and most will agree that when the think of Steve they will automatically think 'trifle' !
