Hope last night was uneventful oj.

Do you have one of those heat-in-the-microwave hot packs, for your back? I think you can buy heat-up patches from chemists.

Hope your back isn't too sore.

Thinking of you all.

piratecat · 16/05/2008 08:17

Tips for aching back are nuerofen, cool or hot pad, deep freeze gel and a warm bath.

Glad to hear from you!

May be a daft suggestion but anyone got a tens machine you could try on your back in addition to the pills?

Wishing you and the family a peaceful and uneventful day.

LilRedWG · 16/05/2008 08:45

OJ - the offer stands if you need anything. You have my phone number.

Love to you all. xxx

onlyjoking9329 · 16/05/2008 08:48

i have a tens machine and hot and cold bags but none any good, i have nerve damage in my back due to disc ops so it's an ongoing thing just made worse by all the hands on stuff day to day.
i now have to go to the doctors as it seems they messed up the driver scripts so have to get them and hope that the chemist has them in the DN is now coming at 2pm.
i will have a hot soak as that always helps

WanderingTrolley · 16/05/2008 08:53

Oh bugger about your back, the meds and having to go back to the doctor.

Can you phone around chemists to see if they have the driver meds, to save you driving time?

The DN may be able to suggest something for your back. Ask for a quick refresher in sliding sheets, just in case there's a way of doing it that causes less pain.

Get some painkilllers for yourself at the chemist too.

xx

TheMadHouse · 16/05/2008 09:05

Morning OJ. Hope your back feels better after a soak in the bath
