I honestly cannot remember when my last one was.
I have recently changed doctors and I thought they may have asked me but they never did.
I know I should be asking but its not something that I relish the thought of.

I tried to go for one when my dd1 was four months old, but was still really sore from the birth and the nurse couldn't do it. I haven't had one for about five years - I need to go but scared it will hurt.

My next one is booked for next month.

I'd rather put up with 15 minutes of uncomfortable than whatever they could find.

five years since my last one

was due to get one, got pregnant, then miscarried, then forgot to get a smear, then got pregnant, then miscarried, then forgot, then got pregnant, had baby.....missed an appointment, finally went for an appointment three months ago but they wouldn't do it because I thought I was pregnant again.....turns out I am so it'll be getting on for 6 years by the time I get one.

NHS website says they will do one when pregnant if you are long overdue, but midwife said no, never.

15 minutes for a smear test PersonalClown? Mine took 30 seconds. Or do you mean you felt uncomfortable for 15 mins afterwards? I hardly felt it, it certainly didn't hurt princessglitter.
