Thanks for the filgrastim tips @BatshitCrazyWoman @dancingwhilstfacingthemusic @Penguinsa
Had a panic today and it's only been 2 days since first triple infusion. Had awful stomach pains so asked me to come in for obs, said are reducing my steroids, gave me sleeping pills for insomnia and actually talked me through the daily injections instead of just chucking them at me! I think it will be fine.

Enjoy @ememem84 that's lovely!

I'm really late in replying, but just wanted to jump on to say that I did manage to work during chemo, even though mine was the accelerated dose dense regime (4x EC every 2 weeks, then 4x Paclitaxel every 2 weeks). However, I had to delegate a lot of deadline-driven/ business critical work to my team as it was very hard to know how I would be doing on any given day. During EC, I usually had 2 days where I really couldn't work at all each cycle (days 4-5 if I remember right). During Paclitaxel I worked every day, but had to shorten my hours and then got so exhausted I took the last cycle off completely to just snooze.
I did not manage to exercise during chemo. I was just too achy and exhausted.

On socialising/shielding: I had chemo during the second COVID wave, so had to be very careful. However, I still met friends, just outside or in well ventilated, non-crowded spaces.

Hope this helps!
