Mice Intestines- thread 2!..

MumOfHals · 19/03/2024 00:33

Hi.

I posted recently about there being mouse intestines outside our house and it being cleared away with a spade ( chucked into the reserve ) and then hosed down.

I had severe anxiety about my daughters ball rolling over where it was on the same day and maybe getting bacteria on it that could cause us to have a disease like weils disease, hantavirus etc etc.

It's now been 2.5 weeks ( 16 days ) last Wednesday I got a sore throat, then a cough, the cough is still awful and the doctor prescribed me antibiotics as a precaution as I was going abroad... today I've come up with a real blood shot eye ( I'm praying it's where I've coughed so much I've popped a blood vessel?????? )

But all these symptoms lead to weils disease.

I'm 33 weeks pregnant, abroad as I can't get hold of a health care professional and I feel scared :(

Is weils disease / hantavirus common in the uk?

Morning all.

We're just bobbing on here to say that we're so sorry to hear you're worrying about this so much, OP. It sounds like you're having a really tough time and we understand that pregnancy can be a difficult time, when worries are amplified and magnified. We're sure lots of MNers can empathise too.

We hope you don't mind, but when these types of threads are flagged to us we like to link to our web-guides, which we hope may be helpful. If you'd like to, please do feel free to take a look at our Mental Health page.

Very best wishes from all at MNHQ Flowers
