quick! i need a poo!

urgent constipation remedies please that will work quickly - my tummy is hurting and i really really need a big poo . have tried warm water, dried apricots and mixed seeds. none of them have made me poo!

You could try the acupressure point between the thumb and first finger - it does work surprisingly well! Mustn't be used when pregnant. I can't find the page where I found details initially but it is also described here:

squat. Really low. Works for me (Of course you do need to get up and onto the loo before it comes out. I'm not suggesting you take a quick crap on the bathroom floor)
