Anybody else got one of these forms from the school .. you have to consent / or not consent to your child getting vaccinated at school now

what do you think

(It only seems to be for London BTW)

I got DD's form today and don't know what to do tbh. She had MMR done at 12 months old and I a pre-school booster at 4. She was extremely upset by it and was actually held down by 3 people as they injected each of her arms. I know she will go mad if they try to give her an injection.

kid .. there's only 2 MMRs in the programme .. sounds like your DD is fully covered

SnowmAngeliz · 14/12/2004 22:09

kid, do you mean she's had first and booster and they're teling you to get done again???

kid · 15/12/2004 14:19

I've just double checked her red book. She had MMR at 12 months and another MMR booster and diphtheria, tetnus, polio and meng c at 4 years old. Sounds such a lot for a poor little child to have all at once, but she was fine afterwards.
Does this mean she does not need to have this catch up then?

Yes she's fully innoculated so no more needed

the catch-up is for those children who haven't had both (or even one) of the MMRs

phew, thats a relief. I hate needles and pass out at the sight of them!
So glad I don't have to make her have one. Its not too bad when they are younger as they don't really understand.
Thanks for letting me know
