Panicking, mammogram recall

Hi,
I went for my first routine mammogram three weeks ago and got my result on Sat, they want me back this Thurs for a second examination, I am worried sick, it would just be my luck after the last 10 years, something else to face. I know I am panicking, but with three 6yr olds I need to be here for them, being silly I know. On top of it all me and Becca are down with a sicky bug and she has headlice again! Help!

Mammogram recall and I am scared too. I am getting called back for them to do a "magnification". I am scared. My mom had breast cancer and my grandma too, maternal line. My dad had brain cancer and died of it but my mom is ok. I keep imagining the worst..and I try to stop the worry but it's hard. It's like a trigger to my teenage years when my parents were both diagnosed. I have fairly large breasts, probably dense tissue so I guess that is why. I also have little lumps in my legs. The doctor said it was benign fatty deposits but I am scared about that too...I am in the USA and I found this site. Thank you.

hawkotter, you've chosen to post on a thread that is eight years old.
Start yourself a new one and look out for the Tamoxifen ladies. They are fantastic.
