Hi, I've been suffering with bloating, back ache, shooting pains in left ovary, nauseous, exhausted, constipation with just small stools if any, also have felt a few lumps in my stomach. Ive gone off food and feel full quickly. My stomach is constantly rumbling and having light abdominal pain. I've just had a blood test this morning and waiting for confirmation on a scan appointment. I'm wondering if anyone else has suffered with these symptoms as I'm getting stressed out and Google doesn't help. Please can someone give me any advice as I'm worried now it's cancer. Xx

Have you had the scan yet? It was a long wait for me so I ended up paying privately at one of the baby scanning places, they also do health scans. I couldn’t really afford it but it did put my mind at ease as I was so concerned about my ovaries etc. I get the constant bloating too, hate it. Have you tried windSetlers and peppermint capsules? They do help somewhat.
Hopefully you won’t have to wait long.

I'm also waiting for a scan its booked for next Friday and am having blood test next Thursday. My symptoms are period pain and lower back pain. Doctor could feel something hard in right hand side of abdomen i'm really worried too.

Reading these posts you realise you are not the only one to worry about something serious when we have symptoms. The best thing to do is leaving dr google alone and just see your GP/consultant and follow their advice. I know the hard part is waiting for scans and results. But you are already doing your best.

I haven't yet, it's been a week since I went to see the Dr. Keep waiting for the postman to arrive 🙄
That's a good idea with a private scan at a baby clinic. I'll look into that. I haven't but I'll see if I can get some as like you the bloat is horrible.
What was your outcome of you don't mind me asking

@Lawjane85 Can I be nosey and ask what blood test you had?
Nocrispsinthehouse · 13/05/2022 11:40
It wasn’t actually too pricey, around £120 and I could literally book the next day which was a relief (I am a huge worrier!). They found an ovarian cyst which I already knew about and as it’s fairly small it’s not something they want to keep a check on, I am under the NHS gynaecologist as I’ve just had an ablation, he looked at the private scans and was happy with everything. But everything else was clear like the gall bladder, pancreas etc.
I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy in 2019 which was clear, and last month a pill camera endoscopy which I am still awaiting the results but they say it’s IBS which I have had for years but these symptoms started around 39 (I am now 49), I think my hormones make things worse.

I had similar but it was two massive ovarian cysts and endometriosis.
Lost one ovary but now fine. If you are young with no family history of female cancers ovarian cancer is unlikely.
