Hi, I've been suffering with bloating, back ache, shooting pains in left ovary, nauseous, exhausted, constipation with just small stools if any, also have felt a few lumps in my stomach. Ive gone off food and feel full quickly. My stomach is constantly rumbling and having light abdominal pain. I've just had a blood test this morning and waiting for confirmation on a scan appointment. I'm wondering if anyone else has suffered with these symptoms as I'm getting stressed out and Google doesn't help. Please can someone give me any advice as I'm worried now it's cancer. Xx

I was diagnosed with fibroids last year. Symptoms were similar.

Could be fibroids then thank you for a reply

have you got a date for your scan yet

Lawjane85 · 18/05/2022 01:01

Just updating bloods are absolutely normal. I had a right ovarian cyst whilst pregnant in feb 2020 checked notes. I had an awful pregnancy constant tests ect but totally forgot I had this. They did say it was fine but I've not had this checked since that scan. I've now got back stomachache feel awful so tired and so annoyed at myself I totally forgot this. Did a fit bowl test 2 days ago which came back positive. Please someone reassure me

I'm waiting for test results too. keeping my fingers crossed for you

Lawjane85 Apparently if you have this result, it means blood was found in your test, but blood in your test result does not mean you have bowel cancer. Only about 1 in 10 people with an abnormal result (about 10%) have cancer. Blood in poo can be caused by other conditions such as polyps or piles.

Hi how are you doing? Had my results today i have a large ovarian cyst on my right ovary had had a urgent referral to have it removed the blood test came back ok.

FlamingNuts · 23/05/2022 19:45

I had a positive FIT bowel test. Thankfully mine was caused by polyps which were removed during a colonoscopy and was nothing to worry about.

Fingers crossed that you get a similar result.

How are you getting on, OP? I hope you’ve had further tests and been reassured.

Nicklebox · 16/06/2022 11:46
