As Anorak has mentioned this on another thread I thought it would be ok to mention it.

Can everyone please send good thoughts to Anorak, who after moving to Bermuda has discovered she has breast cancer, she is going to have a mastectomy on the 18th and then will have to go to the states for the chemo.

Anorak has been a mumsnetter for ever and always goes out of her way to help others, she is a long way from home so please can we all do what mumsnet is good at and give her love and support.

Have missed all this until now. Thinking of Anorak and hope the op went well, and the next lot of treatment does its job quickly.

Hi Anorak. So glad to hear op went well. Will catch up with you as soon as you are able. Take it easy! xx

Oh I can't believe this.

ANorak is one of the nicest people I have ever met - she has always been around for me and has done and said things that have touched me and my family - always making the effort to come and see us when I haven't been that great at doing things like that and always remembering christmas and birthdays when I can;t even keep hold of her address.

Anorak if you are reading this please know that my thoughts and love is with you and I hope so hard that you get through this - thank you so much for the lovely card we received last week - I am so crap I can;t even send one back to you because I can;t find your bloody address which I know you have sent me!

I will be out to see you I guarantee even if I have to drag DH through that bloody triangle!

Am thinking about you and praying for you - if anyone deserves to get through this and keep being such a sterling member of the human race it is you!

All my love from me, DH, DD and Maxi.

Hello all, I live to annoy you another day!

Back from hospital, posted details on the other thread. Many thanks for all your messages, they really do mean a lot to me.

Twinkie, tell DH you don't have to cross the triangle to come here - it's away to the south-west from here! Get him here pronto!
