Good thoughts for Anorak,

As Anorak has mentioned this on another thread I thought it would be ok to mention it.

Can everyone please send good thoughts to Anorak, who after moving to Bermuda has discovered she has breast cancer, she is going to have a mastectomy on the 18th and then will have to go to the states for the chemo.

Anorak has been a mumsnetter for ever and always goes out of her way to help others, she is a long way from home so please can we all do what mumsnet is good at and give her love and support.

Anorak, you are in my thoughts. I didn't realise you were having to go to the USA for chemo as well. I send you huge best wishes for the coming weeks and when I log onto mumsnet I will be looking out for you.

Kimi you doughnut, I will only have to go to the US if they decide I need radiation, that will be decided later, I will have my chemo here in Bermuda.

beep darling, are you okay, how did it go? Will look for your thread.

Please don't worry about me, I am fine, I expect I will feel ill when I have the treatment (mastectomy Tuesday then 6-8 weeks healing time then possible radiation and definitely chemo) but at the moment I'm absolutely fine, I wouldn't know there was anything wrong but for the finding of a painless lump. In fact I have a stinking hangover after a fab night out with my fantastic husband last night, how sorry for me can you be? I took photos of the Christmas lights in Hamilton last night, will see if I can upload and post them later, it looks just beautiful.
