so it is Steve brain scan tomorrow, positive calming vibes this way if you please.

and althou we have been waiting for this now i am anxious. Steve has forgotten about it at the moment.
when i mentioned it the other day he was tearful as he thinks the tumour has grown.

so the best news we can hope for is that the tumour has been shrunk with the radio & chemo, that will at least buy him more time.
after the scans we will have to wait until tuesday for the results.

i think we will have problems getting him to the scan, he should have been to the doctors this morning for blood tests but i couldn't get him up.
his mum is coming over tomorrow so am hoping that between us we can get him up and off for a scan

I have not posted a message to you before now but I have read your threads and I wanted to send you my very best wishes.

The wait for these things is agony - I know. My husband was diagnosed with Hodgkins several years ago. After horrendous tests, an operation and time on the oncology ward, the day before he was due to start a very aggressive chemo we were told they had made an error and it wasn't cancerous afterall. We went through 4 months of hell. I was only 28 at the time and found the whole experience shattering. My Dh seemed to take it in his stride more, however I do remember him being very angry at the hand he had been dealt.

We never even got an apology from the Hospital. The only good thing that came from the whole experience was that I managed to give up my most favourite thing in the world - cigarettes. I made a promise to my DH that I would pack them in and I did.

My thoughts will be of you and your family tomorrow.

that must have been a hellish four months
glad that it was all good in the end. a bonus that you stopped smoking too.
We were the other way round they told us it wasn't cancer in jan, then told us that it was in August

thanks folks, the waiting is hard and with christmas coming up it makes looking forward to christmas difficult. lets hope for good news it would be the best christmas present
